According to Damp, couples are happy or they're dating has a low level of anxiety, are more physically active, and generally have a good social structure.
"Those who are in loving relationships experience neuro-hormonal changes that produce very positive effects on their bodies," Damp said.
Research conducted at the Institute of Canadian Heart and Stoke find those who are in a bad relationship to have higher blood pressure when they are with their partner.
Damp said in earlier studies shown that stress can kill you. Loneliness also has the same effect. Even losing a loved one can be fatal for your heart.
