Vaccine for Addicts
To overcome the addiction for cocaine users, there is now a vaccine intended for drug addicts. Two researchers at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston are examining the discovery of this vaccine for cocaine addicts.
The vaccine is effective but is expected to relieve cravings, is expected to also help the body's immune system to recognize the substances contained in illegal drugs that enter the body and prevent the reaction that can affect the brain.
According to David Eagleman, Baylor's neurological expert says that this discovery is an exciting discovery. For decades scientists figure out how drugs like cocaine and attacks the immune system becomes complicated. But the vaccine is properly entered into the system.
Although still in the stage of clinical trials, but is expected in the future is used as a treatment that can suppress drug users.
