Cinnamon Prevent Blood Sugar


Did you know that cinnamon was able to prevent the rise in blood sugar. It has been proven team of researchers from the University of Malmo, Sweden.

They conducted the study by adding a teaspoon of cinnamon into the pudding consumed a number of volunteers. Cinnamon and proved capable of preventing an increase in blood sugar after meals.


In a study led by Dr Joanna Hlebowicz, 14 volunteers were asked to eat the pudding after eating sweet foods. They eat regular pudding and that has been given a teaspoon of cinnamon. To determine the effect, their blood sugar measured before and after meals.

The results, pudding which were given cinnamon can prevent a significant rise in blood sugar after meals.

According Hlebowicz, this occurs because cinnamon slows the digestive process in the intestine.
