Back to Work Cure Depression

The workplace is often the scapegoat for the increasing number of people with depression and stress. A study published in Medicalnewstoday proves that returning to work can help the healing process of employees who are depressed.

Even so, the Society of Occupational Medicine by reminding his superiors to be more sensitive and began to consider activities that could support the healing of depression. For example create a variety of tasks, or reduce working hours.

This research studied more than 500 people who could no longer work because of depression. The return of these employees to the office can speed up their healing process.

In one year, one in four employees in the UK experience mental health problems. Depression is a mental health problem most commonly suffered.

Of course this problem makes the employees not productive in the company. They are also absent so often from work because of illness, accident, or employee turnover.

The work is generally played a major role in shaping one's identity. If an employee is frequently absent from work due to suffering from depression, this would lead to a feeling underappreciated.

Research shows that the return to work as an important factor in accelerating the healing process. Returning to work is also a way to raise self-esteem and life stability.
