Overcome Vomiting Calmly


Vomiting may occur because of fatigue or discomfort is felt the body. Feel like vomiting can occur because of the encouragement of a strong stomach to remove everything in the stomach to get out. Vomiting is a reflex action due to stimulation of the brain stem.

Things that cause vomiting:

Stomach irritation, irritation of the lining of the stomach is a common cause of vomiting. Most of vomiting due to: 

• Gastritis (inflammation of the gastric mucosa.)
• Gastroenteritis (a disease of the stomach and intestines are the main symptoms or diarrhea)

• Peritonitis (inflammation is usually caused by infection of the lining of the abdominal cavity)
• Excess drinking
• Because of contaminated food (food allergies or due to expired)

In addition, vomiting is also usually due to:

1. Nausea due to motion (e.g. motion sickness)
2. Ever suffered head injuries
3. Having certain diseases, such as meningitis, fever, cough with phlegm, and so on
4. Pregnancy (especially in the morning sickness)
5. Putting their fingers into the mouth (especially in patients with anorexia)

When you feel nauseated, the following tips you can do:

• Avoid foods or certain smells can make you sick
• Inadequate fluid needs you, be water, milk or juice. Do not give alcoholic beverages or soft drinks.
• Suck ice cubes if it is not possible for you to swallow any liquid.
• If the situation had improved somewhat, provide hot soup, hot tea or drink warm ginger to relieve nausea.
• Do not think or imagine things that can make you vomit.
