Aromatherapy Is Not Effective
Efficacy of aromatherapy to relax and calming effect on the body and mind was not always evident. This was especially the lemon and lavender aromatherapy.
Ronald Glaser and Janice K Kiecott, professor of molecular virology, immunology and medical genetics from Ohio State University, found no significant changes in the rate of pacemakers, blood pressure, stress hormones and immune function before and after the kiss or the use of aromatherapy.
Glaser and Kiecott examined 100 people volunteer for two years. They were asked to use aromatherapy on a regular basis. The result, a third or 75 respondents claimed to feel better.
In fact it’s no change at all in the brain and body sensors respondents. According to Glaser and Kiecott, aromatherapy only stimulates the mind and mood for the moment and has no effect on the body and one's psychological.
