Tips for Choosing a Nutritious Cereal

Currently cereal foods no longer are strangers in our country. In fact, every morning, urban and rural communities eat cereal for breakfast. But there are some things to consider in choosing cereal for breakfast.

Choosing a healthy cereal is not easy; there are some cereals that are only concerned with taste than nutritional content. You will find many cereals made from wheat are not whole without the fiber, and cereal with whole grain and that has 7 grams or more. Here are tips you can do:

1. Check Nutrition Content
No doubt, eating cereal in many of the children or even ourselves we choose a nice and sweet flavor. No matter how good the cereal, but if its sugar content is very much all of it will be in vain.

The trick is to choose a cereal that has the attributes of a healthy, low sugar, and contains no saturated fats and trans fats, but still with good taste. But if your choice falls on the plain oatmeal (no flavor), so it was still delicious mixed with raisins, banana slices, or apple to add flavor to oatmeal.

2. Never Stuck On Brands
If you go to the supermarket, you'll see a line of cereals that meet the shelf. A variety of brands you'll meet. But remember, do not dwell on the brand has to offer.

3. Limit Sugar
To monitor the sugar in the cereal, it is recommended to you to add the sugar did not set more than 25% of the total calories in cereals. If you add milk, try the milk is not sweetened with either sugar or syrup because cereal is sweet.

But if that cereal like corn flakes without taste, add a little sugar is not more than 25% of total calories.
