Habituate Brushing Teeth Early
Dental health should be maintained early. A survey involving 1,000 people and held the British Dental Health Foundation found more than a fifth of children aged less than five years were allowed to brush their own teeth without supervision and guidance.
A quarter of parents surveyed have even argued their children do not need to brush your teeth twice a day. Meanwhile, 67% of parents think of brushing your teeth for one minute is sufficient, whereas the recommended brushing time is two minutes. The parent has failed to help their children maintain healthy teeth.
According to Nigel Carter, chief executive of the British Dental Health Foundation, the research results are particularly alarming. It is also an explanation of the conditions in the UK. Approximately half the children under five years old in England are having tartar.
According to Nigel, "The habit of maintaining dental health to children is vital because these habits will be taken until they are adults. Bad habits will lead to their later adult gum disease, which could tails of other adverse conditions such as diabetes, stroke, disease heart, and gave birth to a baby weighing less than it should have. "
Meanwhile, Janet Clarke of the British Dental Association says educating children how to brush their teeth is the most important part of oral health. Brush their teeth twice a day is with toothpaste containing fluoride. The habit is to be started since the teeth begin to grow and should always be supervised by an adult until at least a six-year-old child.
"Parents play an important role in educating children to have good habits early on," said Janet.
