Alcohol and Drugs Cause Suicide
Drugs and alcohol abuse are two things that make people's tendency to commit murder or suicide.
Research from Manchester University also showed the numbers of mental health patients commit suicide or homicide is higher in Scotland. Report found that the north-south is a region with most teenagers.
The report states that, alcohol and illegal drugs are the most things that make mental depressed in Scotland. Part of teaching for mental health in Scotland reported to work for the Scottish government.
Researchers found there were 500 murders in the south of the border over the next 5 years and 5,000 suicides in that time more than 6 years.
Scotland's suicide rate reached 18.7% per 100 thousand populations, compared to 10.2% per 100 thousand populations in England and Australia.
In 1373 patient suicides, found historical factors of alcohol misuse in 785 cases, an average of 131 deaths per year.
There is also a history of abuse of illicit drugs there are 522 cases, or 87 deaths every year.
Approximately 28% of people who end their lives and 12% of killings were reported recently has become a mental health patient.
Louis Appleby, professor of psychology at Manchester University said the findings suggested that alcohol and drugs were behind the high rates of homicide and suicide in Scotland. He called the frequency of occurrence of it as "striking".
Professor Appleby added, "The abuse of alcohol and drugs into the overall invention and this appears to make major contributions that pose risk of mental health and, more broadly," he said.
