Exercise Prevent Breast Cancer

Regular exercise at the age of 12 to 22 years is proven to reduce women's risk of developing breast cancer before menopause. Thus the results of a study team from the University of Washington Medical School with Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

The team studied 65 thousand female nurses aged 33 to 55 years in 1997.
They noted how much free time that used nurses to exercise since the age of 12 years.

Research subjects were divided into three groups. The first group of nurses who most actively exercise that ran for 3.25 hours per week or walking 13 hours per week. The second group of regular exercise, but not as often as the first group.

The third group of the most rarely exercises. It turned out that 550 nurses diagnosed with breast cancer. In women who actively exercise, 23% less risk of developing breast cancer.
