Deafness the Beginning of Stroke
Beware if you often experience hearing loss. It may be that in the next few years you could have a stroke.
Warning was delivered by a team of researchers from Taiwan after studying 1423 patients. The study revealed that patients who lost hearing, one and a half times greater risk of stroke risk in the next five years than patients because of other reasons.
However, the researchers said the results of research published in the journal Stroke is still in its early stages. They continue to explore these linkages separately to find the reason. Lack of information about risk factors for stroke in patients could obscure the findings.
Is known for is the exact opposite. Stroke is one of the causes of deafness. "As far as we know, no cerebrovascular disease that occurs after the loss of hearing all of a sudden," said Dr. Herng Ching Lin of Taipei Medical School of Health Care Administration.
