Birth control pills Prevent Ovarian Cancer

Women who use oral contraceptives were shown to have less risk of developing ovarian cancer than their counterparts.

In addition, the longer women used the pill, the risk of ovarian cancer decreased. The research team said the use of contraceptive pills for 10 years will reduce the risk of ovarian cancer by a third.
