Humor therapy (sometimes called therapeutic humor) uses the power of smiles and laughter to aid healing. Humor may allow someone to feel the control of the situation and make it more regular. This can make someone releasing fear, anger and stress, as well as all the things that made them depressed.

Humor can improve the quality of life. Everyone can use humor therapy, also people who are being prevented or are in the treatment of a disease.

People usually use humor therapy for the treatment of chronic diseases, especially those who are under stress (such as heart disease and asthma). Chronic diseases have a negative effect on mood and behavior, which can make their illness worse.

Humor therapy can reduce the negative effects of feeling unhealthy, out of control, fear or feelings of helplessness, which is usually encountered by people who have cancer or other chronic diseases.

Therapeutic humor is also useful as a preventive measure for patients with chronic diseases. Patients with high risk of their own illness, and humor therapy can relieve the stress that comes when he is sentenced to suffer an illness. Patients and those who want to try therapy, can do it together, and they tend to feel better about his health.

When you smile or laugh, shake your body, this can make blood flow to be smooth and normal. Then the immune response will increase the resistance of infection for antibodies and immune cells increases as well. Then you will feel a deep sleep without pain.
