FROM many people who start an exercise program, only a third of which persisted until the end of the first year. This opinion was expressed by Vicki Pierson, ACE Certified Personal Trainer. For those of you who have started sports programs and feel difficult to survive, of course you're not alone. To help you stay motivated, here are some simple tips that you can try:
Find a fitness partners: The studies found, exercising with friends or family will make you more obedient to the commitment of your exercise program. Neither you nor your friends will be of encouragement when the spirit has begun to slack. So, look for friends to walk or play tennis with a partner.
Write down your development: This is a great way to see the development as well as encourage your spirit. Write down your schedule, your feelings and your goals. Achievements that you feel will certainly encourage you to get maximum results.
Create a workout schedule: Make exercise a priority. Schedule a special time to exercise and make sure you always keep it the same as your other important activities.
Provide comfortable clothing: Choose clothing and comfortable shoes for exercise. This will make you feel better. If you go to the gym, provide clothing and shoes your bags the day before. That way, you can simply leave without disturbing other activities.
Entertain yourself: If exercising alone, you can entertain yourself by bringing an mp3 player. If exercising at home, turn on music that can make you more spirit.
Avoid compromise: Make the sport as a mandatory activity, like brushing your teeth or go to work. This way, you can make exercise a habit.
Dividing the time when busy: When really pressed, you do not have to do all the exercises together. Shorter sessions but more often will also benefit the same. If you do not have a full time 30 minutes, you can divide it into two sessions each 15 minutes, according to the time available. This way you will not feel like a failure and keep the spirit to continue in the next day.
Listen to your body: If you feel pain, shortness of breath, or dizziness, then the rest. Maybe you are too pushy self.
Flexible: Although it would make the sport as a lifestyle, does not mean to push yourself. If you feel unwell, give yourself a chance to break one or two days. Bad experience when forced to lower your spirits.
