Tips to Overcome Insomnia

INSOMNIA (difficulty sleeping disorders) may be familiar to your ears anymore. Though by some people, the disease is considered normal. But there are several ways to overcome the problem of insomnia that many descend among young executives, students and some elements of society. 

1. Before you sleep, relaxation such as yoga stretches the muscles and use breathing techniques.
Calm your mind, forget for a moment that there is a problem in your head. Think of things that are fun and refreshing, like a waterfall, the wild mountains or things that can bring you peace.

2. Try not to sleep less than 5-6 hours a day, because lack of sleep can cause you to feel dizzy when getting up. 

3. Massage your body with aromatherapy oil or moisturizing lotion gently on the legs, arms and neck. You can do it before or after a shower with warm water. 

4. If necessary, change the atmosphere of your room with a design that makes you more comfortable. The combination of soft colors like white and cream will bring a calming effect. Do not forget to give good ventilation in your room. Lighting in your room can also affect the comfort level of your sleep. Better lighting at sleep in your room is made dim, even better off. 

5. Play your favorite soft music as a lullaby. With the volume of the vague and not too hard. 

Things to avoid: 

1. Avoid too empty stomach at bedtime, because you will easily wake up when stomach in hungry and also avoid the stomach is too full, because it can disturb your breathing during sleep. 

2. Avoid excessive use of caffeine such as coffee, soda, tea and chocolate. 

3. Avoid sleeping pills. Because the effect is caused not good, physically and psychologically. Use of sleeping pills, when used in the long run the longer the higher dose will to people who ate dependence.
