Yogurt comes from milk. Therefore, people who ate yogurt will also benefit from animal protein (about 9 grams per 6 ounce serving), plus several nutrients that are also found in everyday foods, such as calcium, vitamin B-2, B-12, potassium, and magnesium.

1. Yogurt may prevent osteoporosis.
Calcium has shown beneficial effects for bone mass in humans with a variety of ages. And the combination of calcium with high doses of vitamin D contained in the yogurt has obvious benefits for bone.
2. Yogurt may reduce risk of high blood pressure.
Research shows a 50% decrease of high blood pressure risk among people who ate 2-3 servings of low fat milk or yogurt per day or more, compared with those who do not eat them.

The results show two types of yogurt consumed decrease hunger and enhance satiety than other snacks.
