Recognize the Symptoms of Flu


Sometimes when you are a lot of sneezing, runny nose, body temperature rises, and feel weak, you feel that you have the flu. However, not always sneezing and runny nose be your main symptoms of the flu. Here are the signs:


  1. High fever, the temperature is between 37.8 - 41 degrees Celsius. Fever is usually continuous, but may subside could also come back. Fever in people with flu can occur in children and adults.
  2. The body feels pain and muscle pain (often), especially in the back, arms, or legs.
  3. Headache
  4. Pain when you want to move your eyes, sometimes hot and watery eyes, so that the eyes always wanted closed.
  5. Fatigue, a symptom of early signs of a person will get sick (malaise), and loss of appetite.
  6. Dry cough, runny nose, and throat and lips are dry and chapped.
  7. Feverish, always feeling cold, but the body feels warm.


If you experience these symptoms, you can do:

  • Immediately take the medicine and pain relievers that contain flu reliever, acetaminophen, phenylephrine (nasal decongestant), and the antihistamine chlorpheniramine. It all depends on the symptoms and the condition of patients and with different side effects.
  • Drink warm beverages, like hot tea, ginger drink, or warm milk.
  • Get plenty of rest, do not use lots of blankets to avoid excessive sweating can cause dehydration.
  • If the heat does not go down within 42 hours, consult a doctor.
