Ten Foods to Caution

YOU really love to eat, but be careful. It could be that the foods you like and you make frequent meals makes your body more quickly inflated. These are food that can make you fat faster:

1. Ice Cream. How nice to enjoy the cold cream with vanilla, strawberry or chocolate during hot weather.
But be aware, if you're not careful, the calories contained in this cold foods can be absorbed quickly. So forget the topping, waffle with ice cream on top, ice cream cone that you enjoy while at the shopping center and your favorite ice cream sticks. It would be better if you choose to eat frozen yogurt or sorbet, or if you find it difficult when to avoid ice cream, buy ice cream with a mild calorie levels.

2. Hot Dog. A mix of grilled or fried sausage wrapped in warm bread and the splash of mayonnaise or sauce is very delicious. "Make it simple hot dog, still enjoy but not more than one hot dog. Because hot dogs are not only high in fat but also contain lots of sodium," says Susan Moores, MS, RD, spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association (ADA).

3. Chocolate. Eating chocolate can be soothing at the same time is exciting because the levels of caffeine. Dark Chocolate does have some health benefits, but only if you eat a small portion. "Enjoy the content of one ounce of high polyphenols in dark chocolate, and do not eat too much because it would negate the health content of fat, sugar and calories," says Moore.

4. Just a few while you breakfast, but before lunch you're hungry again. If you are 'desperate' to eat before lunch, of course it can ruin your diet schedule. A typical meal before lunch with a container filled with sausage, bacon, cheese, cream even though coupled with vegetables other than going to fill you up, also make you hungry faster. Instead, you can prepare a boiled egg, chunks of meat, wheat bread and fruit is still delicious but nutritious and low in calories.

5. Topping, dressings and sauces. Instead, choose a topping, dressing or sauce that is more light (mild).

6. Drinks such as iced coffee drinks, cocktails and smoothies. "Calories in liquid form very quickly integrated into the body," says ADA spokeswoman Christine Gerbstdat, MD, RD. "You should know what is contained in your drink and subtract food or drinks with high calories."

7. Dessert made from nuts, chocolate and coconut can be a 'minefield' calories. Sarah Krieger, MPH, RD advised to add a menu of fruit for dessert.

8. Mixed salad with chicken, potato salad, cheese, mayonnaise and even pieces of bread filled with fat and calories. "Just change the things that contain lots of fat and calories were the greens with the extra light mayonnaise." said Boston University professor Joan Salge Blake, MS, RD.

9. Baked goods such as grilled ribs, steaks, beef burgers are delicious and so forth. But beware, the meat a lot of fat inserted. "Burn chicken, fish, lean meats along with vegetables and fruits," says ADA spokeswoman Marissa Moore, RD.

10. Coconut is found naturally in foods such as in cakes and smoothies. But coconut contains saturated fats, sweeteners, including 129 calories and 8 grams of fat. "If you enjoy a large portion of the coconut fruit, the levels of calories in your body will skyrocket. For example, a dish that contains coconut like coconut fried shrimp containing 300 grams of calories," says Gerbstadt.
